I'm 40!

I just celebrated my 40th Birthday on the weekend!

We had a little party at the House and it passed the party test!

We also had Perfect weather.

My friend V gave me these amazing Chelsea de Luca earrings

My family gave me a gorgeous green ceramic bongo side table! Love!!

I feel very lucky to have such lovely friends and family

and it was so nice to celebrate with them.

My party kids were the last to go to bed!!

It was a great day/night.

And after the clean up, the house looked as good as new :-)

Tomorrow we leave for a 10 week trip to Italy (Rome, Positano, Sicily, etc),

Croatia, London, New York & San Francisco.

I haven't really packed yet (I work best under pressure!)

I'll be posting as often as I can and looking out for some gorgeous

places and things. My camera is going to get a serious work out!!

Look what arrived in the mail...

I received these today after 12 weeks of waiting...

and just in time for my 40th Birthday!!!

These are Bocci lights. Each one is individual. 

As soon as they arrived I ran down to our client's house 

and dragged the electrician back to our House.

Lucky he was up for it (they took about 2 hours to put up).

They don't have bulbs in them yet so what you see reflected

in them here is the sunset... doesn't that just make you smile? :)

I think they're pretty special.

Our Moooi lights were lit and

well...look at what happened....

Who needs artwork??

It's a little bit trippy but 

it'll be less so once the dimmer gets programmed into the c-bus.

They are really relaxing to watch 

and they look just as cool when they're turned off.

Speaking of lights, my 'little' boy turned 8 last week.

They grow so fast.
