About Me

My photo
After we've completed a house, it's amazing how many people say "Isn't it great how it all came together!"... as if by accident. This is a very small look into how it all "comes together".

My weekend

A Cranberry & Lychee Martini made by my friend V.
I had a wondrous 2 days with 6 girlfriends at a friend's newly renovated Sunshine Coast beach house
This sand reminds me of a tile I'm considering for the house... see, I can't help myself!
You should have seen how graceful our 'body surfing' was!
This was taken by my friend K & pretty much sums it up!
Summer Sunday's aren't exactly lazy for us.
Nippers first, then 3 hours of longboarding (in perfect conditions).
At one stage there were 12 friends and family surfing various boards with us
(including my mum and dad)!
The kids on Retro boards
Our Italian house guests with my board (right) and Adam's board (left).
These boards are custom made by a Noosa board builder called Tom Wegner.
They have timber stringers and mine has a magenta fin (of course!).
They are a work of art and a joy to ride!

I hope your weekend was wondrous too!
OK now... chop chop.....back to work!

  1. I swear I see 'house' things where other people wouldn't even begin to imagine thinking about their house. Love that the sand reminds you of a tile!

  2. Thanks M. I'm glad you can relate. We walk around with our eyes & minds open.... it's a good thing even if it's a teensy obsessive ;-)

  3. So fun! I have a can of lychee in the cupboard that is begging to be shaken in a martini. I'll let you know when I get them in the shaker. :)

Thanks for your lovely, lovely comment. Flattered.

  4. Prego!! (It's all about Italy in our house at the moment!)
The Lychee Martini really is very addictive, so be careful!
    Enjoy!
