The fins went on the front of the house today!
If you despise modernism, look away now...
The cabinet maker says that they remind him of ET!?
We enjoy confusing people :)
On a softer note, we are considering plant options.
I'd love a Singapore Frangipani at the front entrance.
I've started looking for one online.
That's how we found our Pandanas Tree
She's been there since before the slab.
I love anything tropical,
Big leaves, no to low maintenance
I think these Xanadu Philodendrons
will go nicely between the driveway and the entrance
I also love Ivy and Vertical Gardens and big pots
I love this courtyard!
Terracotta Pots.... who would've thought?
We have a courtyard beside the dining area
and it will be my mission to fill it with Plants!
You know how much I love The Ivy in Sydney!
When the turf goes down and the plants go in
the unfinished house looks complete!

How on earth do the fins remind him of ET?
ReplyDeleteThey look fabulous, but I am very puzzled....
Yes, I was baffled!! I asked him if he thought it looked like a space ship & he said, "no, not a space ship... There's just something about it that reminds me of ET"
ReplyDeleteInteresting...
Your house is looking gorgeous, Jodie! So glad to hear you laugh off negative comments - the Zeus house is fantastic - x
ReplyDeleteThank You Anne-Marie!! The ET comment came from a meat and 3 vege kinda guy, so it's like water off a duck's back :) x
ReplyDeleteAmazing!!! Look forward to seeing more updates :)

Jodie, would you happen to have a "normal" photo of your amazing marble tiles (http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xhzdsPHIol0/TfrP0F2h_AI/AAAAAAAAASQ/90xrJo_um8g/s1600/6050_119463117851_527427851_2448277_5537928_n.jpg). What I mean by normal is a non professional shot :)
ReplyDeleteI am trying to compare the tiles I've picked out to yours but am worried that I'm not comparing "apples with apples" if you know what I mean :)
