About Me

My photo
After we've completed a house, it's amazing how many people say "Isn't it great how it all came together!"... as if by accident. This is a very small look into how it all "comes together".

Inside, Outside

It's always nice to see a light at the end of the tunnel!

We have now started to think about moving in.
As well as furniture, interior colours, etc.

In Vogue Living I saw a lot of similar schemes & finishes to ours.
Veneer & White Kitchens, Charcoal Walls,
Timber flooring & splashes of colour like Green and Pink.
When I quickly flick through my masses of home magazines I must retain more than I think?!

We decided to use some Shiplap Timber Cladding (Red Cedar)
on some areas of our house.
We are really happy with how good it looks
and how well it goes with our other colours.
 It also smells divine!

The floors are getting sanded and polished next week
and the modwood decking will commence (it's all about timber next week!!)

...and speaking of timber... part of our kitchen has been installed

 The rock wall is finished.
I'm so in love with it!

The Vergola Roof system frame and rain sensors were installed too

...and the pool fence!

The Exterior Painting is almost complete

...and the driveway is powering along!

....it's all moving quite quickly now,
maybe I should start packing??

We are all getting very excited about moving in!!

I hope you're all having a great weekend!!
xx

  3. Thank You Blue Fruit & Catch,
I'm 'secretly' excited!! I'm not really sure where to start with the packing as we really don't have more 'stuff' than we use every day!
I call myself a hoarder...... however, when I hear about the sort of things people keep I realise I'm probably a minimalist with hoarder tendencies;) !

  6. Thanks Jenny & B,
We are still living in the Sugarcube. We have been renting it from the family who bought the house from us (it still feels like ours). It's been a great house.... but..... I can't wait to get into the new house!
